Good food, not sure it is good enough to have bad customer service! The Irondale AL location drivethru order taker is not pleasant and has changed my mind about coming back to this location!

I’ve been to Zaxby’s 3 times, so far, and every time, I’ve been less than impressed. The Nibblerz were sloppy-looking (the chicken was barely inside the buns), the fries were soggy, and every chicken product I’ve had here has been very low-grade chicken. A chicken finger I got was half chicken meat, half inedible fat.. It’s always been very dry or too greasy… Really the only thing that impressed me here were the seasonings and the sauces.

The last 2 times I ordered “The Blue” zalad and the portions are MUCH smaller now than they were a month ago. I’m not a small man (5’10″ 220 lbs.) and “The Blue” use to be all the dinner I needed..it now leaves me hungry. Charge more but leave the portions alone!

I ate at zaxbys in Statesboro in the 80′s. I went out to the Zaxbys in Thomaston ga today and they upped the price on wings and things 1$. my wings were so thin I ask the manager why there was no meat on these smallllllllllllllll wings. She said it was a seasonal thing. You guys are gonna fail in the end.

we eat at our zaxbysseveral times amonth. the manger we have now is the best ever. she is always asking if the food is good ,if she can do anything to make our visit better ,always has a smile and greats the customer. her name is fredricka hollandin our ellijay ga store. dont ever take her away from us.

First love the food, love the differents resturaunts i’ve eaten in…here’s my coplaint…I like the wings and things meal…but I hate that I am charged any where from fifty cents to a dollar more for ordering the tradition wing..i.e…those with the bone..does this make any sense to anyone? Doesnt it cost more to de-bone than to leave along? Why am I being penalized for eating chicken the way God made them? Enough with the stupidity…down with unfair prices!

We have stopped at the Zaxbys in Sylva,NC twice and today will be our last time. We were in there around 1:30-2:00 and both got a House Grilled Chicken Salad and it could not have been worse.. Chicken was burned and held far to long.. Thrown together is the word ..bread was cold and terrible.. Service was poor.. No excuse because they were not busy.. I saw a salad come out the window as we ordered and started to leave then, which we had.. Did not see a manager or anyone that seemed interested in what was going on.. Very disappointed .. We eat with Zaxbys often but will not go to this one again..

i honestly used to love eating at zaxby’s off of mt. zion & spalding, Ga. nowadays i refuse to due to the fact each time my sister and me eat there we get food poisioning. plus extreamly rude customer service. i wouldnt recommend it. they need to hire new workers, handle/prepare food better & keep there restaurant clean.

3 weeks ago I drove 15+ miles to get a 2-4 pm wing special. Got to register right at 4 and was told I could not get the special due to register being programed. Today I took off work early and made another long trip making sure I would get there on time. Through observations I discovered the signs that advertised the wing special wasn’t up any more. The cashier came up to take my order I inquired and was indeed told it was discontinued. The trips inconvenienced me as I had my mind entirely on eating and trying out the wings (in which I was told a couple weeks ago they wasn’t good ). Of course I was offered to purchased other items off the menu but I didn’t anticipate pay too much money on something I didn’t have a taste for. The first time to make my trip worth while I purchased a drink. Both times leaving due to a busy thoroughfare and school dismissal trying to leave there and turning left is both dangerous and nearly impossible to get out.

I have eaten at these places for many years. I always knew that it is about the worst food you can consume but I was younger and did not care.
If you take in to account the fried fat, the over salting for cheap flavors, and the ever shrinking portions with ever increasing prices, it is just a matter of time that hisory will talk about it.
The milk shake contents are a rip off, they have reduced the cube of the salad plates AND increased prices.
Seems more and more of them are nasty, serve improperly cooked food like old fries in old oil.
Compare the three strip chicken size and price with Chic-Fil-A, amazing. CFA’s are larger and taste much better.

we have been to the same zaxbys twice in georgia and both times i was really disapointed. this time was the worst. i asked for chicken strips and the young man looked at me like i had 3 eyes! anyways it took him 4 tries on the computer and 25 minutes to get it right. the chicken was over done and it will be my last time there!

Zaxbys is a great place to eat. My family
likes it very much.

I am VERY unsatisfied with what I got today. I went out of my way to get their food and the chicken was rubbery and their fries were hard as rock. Never going there again.

Went thru drive-thru at McDonough, Georgia restaurant. 15 minutes to get order taken, then told to “pull up and wait – order would be brought out”. Waited 10 minutes for order. When it came, two items were missing (entree and drink). Got back in line, took another 15 minutes to get the items. Not even a “sorry” from the staff. There is a McDonald’s right next door to this Zaxbys. Guess where I will go next time?

I ate there twice. Both times resulted in severe food poisoning. That’s a big shame because the food taste great but obviously not worth the severe pains and diarrhea that comes afterwards.

we were disappointed in the flavor and portion of the fried pnckles .. they tasted too much like corn meal.. probably won”t be back! the wings were not all that either!!

I love the food but that commercial with the pickles is TERRIBLE!!!!

Well, young lady, it Jan2012 and they just brought them back but even my dog wouldn’t eat the ones I got today at Z’s in Aiken SC. Used to love Sonics but they stopped having them, so saw the sign today at Z’a and decided to try them. Whoa, are they bad! First of all they looked nothing like the photos on the ad circular(heavily coated with meal) and were dark and tasted very bad. I only got 10 for $1.89 and they were small. Even after dipping them in ranch sauce I could only eat 5 of them.These looked like they had been dipped in meal and then hot grease which wiped all the coating off in spots. Yep, I filed a complaint online with Zaxby’s. Stay tuned.

Zaxbys is a great place 2 work.. I’ve been an employee 4 about 4 months.. Love d environment my team n managers.. Wher i work n owensboro we dnt sale much chicken salad sandwiches.. I believe we either needa take it off our menu or change it a bit 2 give more flavor.. A Chicken place should make ther own chicken salad.. I believe if we Jus add sum of our tenders 2 d mix or like sum fruit like grape it wood increase sales.. I also do believe we need sum kinda special bbq’d chicken sandwich.. We should post sumtin on fb n Wat ever gets mentioned more should become d next thang on menu.. I personally dnt like goin places 2 eat Wher they never change nothin same old food.. Our customers should have sum control n decide.. Its like us n customers should b like family n they should get that vibe when they are n our hands……. Zaxbys!

I went to the Zaxbys in Mccalla and the service was awful waited 15 minutes before the girl even said will be with you in a minute she was waiting on window and front there was none in the store but still took 20 minutes or more we got the food fries were cold chicken fingers were hard me and my son ate the same thing I got home after rude service and I got doubled over with stomach pain and then got very sick wasnt even a hour later and had felt fine before going there my son also got sick and missed a day of school because of it needless to say went to doctor and it was food poisoning I will never ever eat there again and will never recommend it to anyone you will need to learn how to keep this from happening again I did turn it into poison control.

I just went to the drive thru in Elberton Georgia. I use to get great food there with no problems, but today I ordered for 3 people. The fries were cold so I took them back and they took the food back and returned and I picked up the fries still cold. I am going to try Zaxby’s one more time because I love there food, but that didn’t make any sense to me. I was very disappointed and the kids were too.

I loveee their fried pickles more than ANYTHING and I can’t belive that they’re gone when will they bring them back??

LOVE THE PARMESAN CHICKEN SANDWICH. PLEASE BRING IT BACK.

I’m very unhappy, my son loves fried pickles and to his great dismay, when we arrived, we were told that fried pickles were no longer on the menu. After we left he told me he no longer wanted to come here (zaxby’s) anymore.

Rush and Rudeness, They want you to leave the drive window , they dont give you a chance to check the order, cold fries smashed old bread.
Last time we went to the Acworth location they employees were too bussy closing down at 9.30 PM chairs were up and the female manager was too bussy talking with the staff, I guess our money is not good enough we left, party of 4, you wont get our money again.
This location has gone down in the last few months .

Unfortunately,they’ve joined the quality drop that comes with expansion. Sauce is now thinner, and the wings are no longer cooked to order…dehydrated. Heating lamp issued. Celery must be $5 a pound, because it’s shrinking! What once was”top-of-the-pile”, now is “no big deal” Is it just that way in Savannah?
