Wendy’s “Bold Buffalo Boneless Chicken Wings” are the worst-tasting thing I have ever eaten at any fast food restaurant in my lifetime. The overbearing, vinegary pepper sauce was otherwise thin and too sugary. It destroyed the taste of the chicken in a way that the capsicum alone could never do. It nearly made me ill. The sauce was so utterly horrid that for hours I wondered, seriously, if it contained nothing other than vinegar, extract of Charleston hot pepper and corn syrup. It was Tabasco Sauce and Karo Syrup, but with more vinegar. Yeccchhh! I ate the entire serving very quickly because I was extremely hungry, as I often am when I eat fast food. I wolfed it. Still, I almost didn’t eat the last two pieces because the cloying, acidic back taste was beginning to overcome my mouth. I did finish them, but quickly regretted doing so for the next four hours or so. I almost vomited about half hour later. I love spicy food and eat it every day. But, this ghastly item I will never eat again. I will never eat any chicken item at Wendy’s that comes with a sauce already applied. I will never eat at Wendy’s again unless this item is removed from their menu and they publicly apologize for having served such an abomination to the unwitting public. If they persist in serving such horrendous fare, I will forever denigrate and besmirch their food as unfit for human consumption. This one item could ruin their business. They should kill it now.

Fry’s too salty indeed! Less salt, outstanding product. The quality and size remain consistant in their burgers. The same as it was in the beginning. GOOD for them! Others should follow example…and maby the lines would get shorter at WENDY’S.

Personally, I always order the fries without salt. It takes longer, but too many of the people working there don’t understand sea salt is not regular salt. They need better training.

I’ve been a Wendy’s customer for many years and have enjoyed many meals from their restaurants. A few months ago I noticed a different taste to my burger and found sweet pickles on it instead of dill pickles. I didn’t care for the change but figured they just screwed up. Several weeks later I was at a different store and ordered the same meal and found sweet pickles again. Hoping this was a summer marketing scheme I quit going to Wendy’s for a while and then they came out with toasted and buttered buns. I tried one and it tasted like crap. I am done with these guys unless they change everything back the way they were. I also don’t think adding “butter” to a fast food burger is such a healthy thing considering how much fat is already in burgers. So again myself , my friends and family will not be back to these restaurants.
