History: Hardee’s was founded by Wilbur Hardee, who opened his first restaurant in Greenville, North Carolina in 1960. In 1997, CKE Restaurants (owner of Carl’s Jr.) acquired Hardee’s. Hardee’s restaurants are gradually being converted to be more like Carl’s Jr. with some of the same menu items and even adopting the same star logo.As of 2006, Hardee’s operates 1993 restaurants in 31 US states.

I was at the Hardee’s in Greencastle, Pennsylvania. The cashier from the drive up was very rude and didn’t listen to the questions that I was asking her about the menu. We will never go back to Hardee’s again….

I am expressing my dissatisfaction of the Hardee’s location located at Hwy-150 and Walmart in Winston-Salem, N.C.
over the last several months on an occasional visit to this location, one of my orders was lost and the last two orders sat on the line until I had to go get it. The most recent was 5/27/2011 at 10:44 am. The person, by the name of Joy, said she was looking for me so she could serve my food. This is not true. She looked at me several times and swept around my table once. The restaurant had only 3 other customers in it. On other occassions The service has been very slow. I really don’t know how the store stayes in business. The people that work here seem to have the attitude that they had rather be somewhere else than helping customers. I have been in sales over thirty years and customer relations has aleays been my strong point. If you would like for me to train these people I would gladly do it at the same rate as what you are paying someone now and get better results. I think you should have this checked out and make it a more pleasant place to visit if you want to make this location a success.

My husband and I went to the Hardees in Atmore,Alabama. I was very upset by the time we left. It took almost 1/2 of an hour to get our food and we were first in line. I doubt very seriously if we ever go back. No fast food restaurant should take that long. As far as I am conserned they rate one star from me. Their food is good but, their service is terrible. They used the excuse that they had to cook our order, I was under the impression that fast food restraunts were supposed to keep food cooked. Something should be done if they intend to stay in business. Lately I have noticed a decline in their business. If they have treated everyone like us,I am not surprized.

Hardee’s is not your typical fast food place. They cook to order. Hardee’s is also a place that after you order, you go sit down, not stand in line like Mcd’s. They will bring you your food. For those of you that are complaining about service, this is one of the most stressful jobs I have ever had (I have taught school, been a dental assistant, worked in world wide companies, etc.) you also have to remember, when you are NOT working, the workers in the fast food places are working. If this is a big issue to you, buy your own meat and grill out. Lets see if you can make fresh burgers and french fries without some kid asking if its done yet. Its not that easy.

Are you selling Sex or Food.I thought Hardees was a family resturant.Do you not have enough faith in you food to sell without the nasty comericials.I will not eat at Hardees untill you claen up the comericials.All my friends agree.

I was in Hardees a few times this week and seen one of the managers throwing a fit like a 2yr old the first time.Then went back in another day and seen one of their employees sick and she done nothing to help but stood there yelling at him degradeing him in front of other employees and customers. People like that don’t need a job.She was the blonde,fat one.This is not a place I would or will go back to unless she is gone. Sumiton,al there have been several to quiet and walk out dew to her rude ness and mistreating of employees and customers.
