FAQ for Adventures In Fast Food
Q- Who owns this site?
A- A bunch of people who love fast food. We are not affiliated with any fast food company or establishment.
Q- What is Adventures in Fast Food?
A- Adventures in Fast Food is your source for fast food reviews and feedback. Our goal is to be a place where you can rate your favorite fast food restaurants, share stories, comments and experiences at a particular restaurant, and maybe even introduce you to new fast food places to try.
Q- So you are promoting people to eat more unhealthy fast food?
A- Fast and healthy are not contradictions. We are not condoning people to eat every meal at a fast food restaurant, but if someone chooses to do so, we want to be resource a user can check before they spend their hard earned money.
Q-There seems to be an error on a listing here. How can I help you correct them?
A- While we aim for perfection but we know errors can occur. We welcome you to contact us here with any correction. Please note for accuracy we will only take corrections from emails at corporate email domains from the company listed or a link to a verifiable source our data is wrong.
Q-We are a fast food/quick serve restaurant, and we wish to speak to you about a promotion on your site. How do we go about this?
We are open to ads for any establishment listed on this site. We can arrange a spot on your page to advertise your specials, your company or any special promotions (especially targeted for those that visit from Adventures in Fast Food). Below is a screenshot example. Ad size is 500 x 75:

Q- Are you sure “xxxxx” is a fast food restaurant?
A- Our original fast food listing started with restaurants meeting the following criteria:
- The restaurant has a drive-thru
- The restaurant advertises heavily on TV and may use a “ mascot”
- The restaurant has a value menu
- You can order at the take-out counter
- They offer combos or trios on a menu board behind the cash
- For 50 cents or more, you can upgrade your portion.
-There are no waiters; you bring your food to the table on a tray
-They do not take reservations
-They have a frequent visitor rewards card program
-There is no wine list
-The food is prepared in an assembly-line style
- The have multiple locations across the country/state and the found is the same.
Over the past year our site has grown to include some restaurants which might be considered more than a quick serve restaurant. Non traditional fast-food restaurants that were added use a set of criteria that centers around uniform experiences available at multi-locations in a casual dining environment. We have added the tag “Casual Dining Restaurant” to identify them. We feel this addition continues our original goal in making “Adventures in Fast Food” a fast way to locate your favorite multi-location restaurants fast and easy when you are mobile or traveling.
Q- I know a restaurant that is not listed!
A- Great! Submit it here!
Q- How do I vote/rank/rate/review my favorite restaurant?
A- There are several ways. The easiest way is to go to the restaurant page of your favorite restaurant and choose the number of stars you think it deserves. You can also write a review or vote on other reviews. We also run have a ranking section, which allows you to see how your favorite places stacks in a particular food category. Q- What if I want to complain to the owner of a restaurant, get info on franchising a restaurant or have a question which is location specific?
A- Believe it our not we get lots of interesting emails. Unfortunately most of them should not be directed to us but the owners or staff of a particular franchise. To contact the owners of fast food restaurant or discuss a particular situation, for example to lodge a formal complaint (which is not a review or rating), you must visit the companies website directly. Just use the handy links on their entry in our directory and and click on the “contact us” link on their website (not ours) to send them your feedback directly–emails to us on such subjects will be deleted. If you would like to suggest a new restaurant not yet covered or provide us with extra information about a restaurant we may have missed, you may submit those here.
Q-I run a fast food franchise, is their value to using Adventures in Fast Food?
A- Yes of course Adventures in Fast Food has value for you. Most important, you can get instant feedback from your customers. At the bottom of each page you will find “RSS feed for reviews of xxxx.” By subscribing, you can instantly follow any review about your restaurant once it is published. We also offer a Fast Food Forum where topics of the fast food industry are discussed and Top Fast Food Rankings site, which could lead you to some nice bragging rights if you come out on top. A- You can agree or disagree with a review by clicking a thumbs up or down. Therefore reviews are “user moderated”. The votes are displayed for those that agree or disagree with a review or comments. Poorly rated comments or reviews ( i.e. too many “disagrees”) will be hidden with a click-to-see link. They are not deleted, they are just considered unhelpful by our community. Highly-rated reviews will be highlighted. Hotly-debated comments or reviews (both agrees and disagrees) can also be highlighted to draw more attention, some more individuals can add their opinion.
