FAQ

FAQ for Adventures In Fast Food

Q- Who owns this site?

A-  A bunch of people who love fast food. We are not affiliated with any fast food company or establishment.

Q- What is Adventures in Fast Food?

A- Adventures in Fast Food is your source for fast food reviews and feedback. Our goal is to be a place where you can rate your favorite fast food restaurants, share stories, comments and experiences at a particular restaurant, and maybe even introduce you to new fast food places to try.

Q- So you are promoting people to eat more unhealthy fast food?

A- Fast and healthy are not contradictions. We are not condoning people to eat every meal at a fast food restaurant, but if someone chooses to do so, we want to be resource a someone can check before they spend hard earned money.

Q-We are a fast food/quick serve restaurant, and we wish to speak to you about a promotion or our listing on your site. How do we go about this?

A- We’d love to help you advertise your specials, your company and any special promotions (especially those for visitors of Adventures in Fast Food). Contact us here to start the conversation.

Q- Are you sure “xxxxx” is a fast food restaurant?

A- Our original fast food listing started with restaurants meeting the following criteria:

- The restaurant has a drive-thru
- The restaurant advertises heavily on TV and may use a “ mascot”
- The restaurant has a value menu
- You can order at the take-out counter
- They offer combos or trios on a menu board behind the cash
- For 50 cents or more, you can upgrade your portion.
-There are no waiters; you bring your food to the table on a tray
-They do not take reservations
-They have a frequent visitor rewards card program
-There is no wine list
-The food is prepared in an assembly-line style
- The have multiple locations across the country/state and the found is the same.

Over the past year our site has grown to  include some restaurants which might be considered more than a  quick serve restaurant. Non traditional fast-food restaurants  that were added  use a set of criteria that centers around uniform experiences available at multi-locations in a casual dining environment. We have added the tag “Casual Dining Restaurant” to identify them. We feel this addition continues our original goal in making  “Adventures in Fast Food”  a fast way to locate your favorite multi-location restaurants fast and easy when you are mobile or traveling.

Q- I know a restaurant that is not listed!

A- Great! Submit it here!

Q- How do I vote for my favorite restaurant?

A- Go to the restaurant page of your favorite restaurant and choose the number of stars you think it deserves.

Q-How do I share my Adventures in Fast Food?

A- Just add your comments to the little box at the bottom of the page.

Q- What if I want to complain to the owner of a restaurant, get info on franchising a restaurant or have a question which is location specific?

A- Believe it our not we get lots of interesting emails. Unfortunately most of them should not be directed to us but the owners or staff of a particular franchise. To contact the owners of fast food restaurant or discuss a particular situation, for example to lodge a formal complaint (which is not a review or rating), you must visit the companies website directly. Just use the handy links on their entry in our directory and and click on the “contact us” link on their website (not ours) to send them your feedback directly–emails to us on such subjects will be deleted. If you would like to suggest a new restaurant not yet covered, provide us with extra information about a restaurant we may have missed, a special or promotion currently in effect or corrections to our listings, you may submit those here.
