I love Bakers. I just moved to the Inland Empire and have been there a few times. The burritos remind me of Naugles (which if you dont know was a fast food resturant that sold mainly mexican food). The times Ive been there people have always been nice (especially at the one on Archibald just noreth of the 10 freeway).

Hi Mike,

We don't own Baker's Drive Thru. Adventures in Fast Food is a resource about fast food restaurants. Nevertheless, I think the main issue here might be a fear of counterfeiting. We have come across this issue at several other franchises as well. In the end, I am surprised a compromise could not be reached if all you had was a 50. Seems to me a lack of flexibility on the managers part, rather then a comment on food quality. Can any visitors to Bakers add their experiences???...

I have to admit that I am now convienced you have fully removed convience from the initial purpose of fastfood. I was shocked today when I went to your establishment (Bakers in Ontario, CA on 4th St.) and made a $30.18 purchase. Your prices arn't what shocked me even though they are very high. When I tendered the cashier a $50.00 bill they refused to accept it????? The idiot went to far as to suggest I go to the AMPM across the street and ask them to break it. This idiot, who professed to be the manager expected me to take my $50 bill 200 yards get it changed to 2 $20 and a $10 and return and pick up my order that would have now been sitting for who knows how long.Is he insane or is the entire policy makers within Bakers all insane. The one and only one purpose of this act is to make it inconvient for your customers and convient for yourselves. There is absolutly no amount of argument that could convience me, or anyone having any logical ability, there was any logic in the refusal to accept a $50 bill for a $30.18 purchase. Stupidity is all that it is. This casued me to wonder about the entire policies surrounding Bakers. With this kind of stupidity involved at Bakers it surly carries over into other decision making. I now question the ingredients freshness, the cleanliness of workers and establishments and even the care with which the food is processed. You will never get any future business from myself or any of my many grown children and we will be passing this absurd policy and our other concers this has generated to everyone we meet. If you have any doubt please check the internet from time to time.
